The Road to Reality: A Technovation Project
Together, the members of team Vimana were moved by these community problems and were passionate about channeling their knowledge and education beyond the school walls. They wanted to harness technology to ensure that a meal reaches the hungry, notebooks reach eager students, and joy reaches them in the form of donations.
A Helping Hand for all NGOs
One of the owners, Deepti Bhat, noticed flyers for donation of books posted in the local community bulletin. Often unnoticed by most community members, NGOs had to go door-to-door to advance their mission of educating rural kids. As a student, she felt motivated to solve such issues where there was a disconnect between available materials and resources and those in need. The other owner, Spoorthi Bhat was drawn to solve these problems through technology. From her coding classes, she realized the outreach and capabilities of code and its impact on thousands of users at once.
